To say that CrossFit changed my life is such an understatement. I thought I was fit when I tried my first CrossFit WOD in 2012, but I was in for a huge surprise when it left me gasping for air and so very sore the next day. That was the beginning of a new chapter in my quest for fitness and good health.
Since 2012, I have earned two CrossFit certs and have had the pleasure of coaching others since 2013. Nothing makes me happier than seeing others achieve new levels of fitness and perform in ways in which they did not think their bodies were capable.
I was never very athletic as a kid, but fell in love with lifting weights in my late teens. CrossFit has fueled that passion, and I have even competed in lots of local competitions-and more to come!
One of my favorite parts of CrossFit is the Games Open every February- I love seeing how my scores and ranking in the Master’s Division improve every year, even as I am getting older. The CrossFit methodology really works!!!
I can’t imagine life without CrossFit and being part of this wonderful community.
